Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the CricBolt mobile application and its related in-app services (the "Service"). For purposes of these Terms, "CricBolt", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the provider of the Service under the CricBolt brand. Contact and legally required operator disclosures are available through the contact information in this document and any supplementary statutory notice. Please read these Terms before using the Service. If you disagree, please stop using it. The Privacy Policy is a separate notice and does not substitute for any consent required by law.
1. Nature of the Service
CricBolt is an independent cricket information service offering, where available, live scores, fixtures, results, commentary, statistics, rankings, match details, team and player profiles, polls, informational odds and other cricket-related features. Access currently does not require an account or subscription. Functionality and availability vary by region, device, match, release and upstream data coverage.
2. Eligibility and lawful access
You must use the Service in accordance with applicable law. If you are a minor, use the Service with any supervision or permission required by applicable law. This statement does not replace any required child-specific privacy controls or age checks. We may restrict or discontinue specific functionality where necessary to meet legal or platform requirements.
3. Accuracy, timeliness and informational use
Match information may be received from third-party providers and can contain errors, omissions, interruptions and delays. Scores, commentary, statistics, projections, win probabilities and odds may be corrected or updated without prior notice. They are provided for general sports information and entertainment, not as guaranteed real-time records, investment or wagering advice, or a basis for a financial decision. Check authoritative sources for decisions requiring certainty.
Match polls reflect participating users' selected answers and do not constitute verified forecasts, official results or advice. We may take reasonable steps to prevent automated voting or manipulation.
4. No betting or gambling service
CricBolt is not a bookmaker, betting platform, gambling operator or intermediary for placing bets. The Service does not offer wagering accounts, accept stakes, execute bets, hold wagering deposits or pay winnings. Odds and projections, if displayed, are informational and are not a solicitation, promotion, recommendation or inducement to gamble.
We do not intentionally advertise, encourage or facilitate unlawful betting or gambling. Whether any gambling-related advertisement is permitted depends on applicable local laws, app-store rules, ad-platform policies and actual publisher settings. We reserve the right to block, report or request removal of ads that may violate those requirements. Users are responsible for assessing whether visiting or dealing with an external gambling-related service is lawful in their jurisdiction, but this does not remove CricBolt's non-excludable obligations regarding advertising or unlawful content.
5. Advertising and external destinations
CricBolt is supported by advertising supplied through Google AdMob and third-party mediation or advertising partners. These providers operate under their own contractual frameworks, platform standards and applicable legal obligations; their presence does not guarantee that every advertisement, advertiser or destination has been independently approved, licensed or verified by CricBolt. Advertisements are not necessarily our recommendations or endorsements.
If you choose to click an advertisement, visit another website, install another application, register with an advertiser or make a purchase, you do so based on your own judgment. Your interaction or transaction is generally governed by the external provider's terms and privacy practices. Check its identity, licensing, age requirements, claims and conditions before providing information or money. CricBolt is not a party to independent transactions between users and advertisers unless expressly stated. Nothing in this section excludes our responsibilities for our own conduct, advertising controls, statutory duties or misrepresentations.
To report a potentially deceptive, harmful, unlawful or inappropriate advertisement, contact support@cricbolt.com with the advertiser name, approximate date/time and, if available, a screenshot.
6. Intellectual property, third-party rights and non-affiliation
The software, original design and other materials owned by CricBolt are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Sports information, team and tournament names, logos, images, marks and licensed material may belong to their respective owners. You receive a limited, revocable where lawful, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, lawful and non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, resell, bulk extract, distribute or commercially exploit protected materials without appropriate authorization, except to the extent permitted by law.
Use of any third-party name or factual sporting information does not itself indicate an official connection, approval or sponsorship.
7. Acceptable use
Do not disrupt, overload or attack the Service; introduce malware; circumvent access controls; attempt unauthorized entry to servers or accounts; manipulate voting; impersonate CricBolt; infringe third-party rights; or use the Service to violate applicable law. Do not scrape or reverse engineer protected functionality except where legally permitted. We may reasonably limit access or take other proportionate measures to address abuse, security issues or legal requirements.
8. Permissions and optional features
Some features may request notification permissions, device speech capabilities or, on supported Android devices, permission to display a pinned live-score overlay above other applications. These features are optional and can be managed through available app or device settings. Running an overlay or maintaining a live update may consume battery and network data. Your network operator may charge for internet usage.
9. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains our handling of information, including technical and device identifiers, match polls, analytics and crash reporting, advertising, choices and rights. Use of the Service is not itself blanket consent to optional personal-data processing. Where consent is legally required, we request it through an appropriate separate mechanism.
10. Service interruptions, force majeure and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue features for technical, operational, licensing, security or legal reasons, including circumstances beyond reasonable control such as network outages, feed interruptions, infrastructure failure, natural disasters, governmental restrictions or third-party service failures. We aim to provide useful access but do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation or uninterrupted feeds. We may revise these Terms, update the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes where required. Changes do not retrospectively extinguish rights already accrued.
11. Disclaimers, limitations of liability and statutory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CricBolt does not warrant that sporting information will be uninterrupted, fully accurate or suitable for a particular decision. We are not responsible for independent third-party products or transactions solely because an external advertisement or link appears in the Service. We are not liable for losses caused solely by a user's unlawful conduct or reliance on unverified sporting predictions to the extent allowed by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability or consumer, privacy, statutory or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability for our own unlawful acts or failures where applicable law imposes responsibility. These provisions must be interpreted accordingly.
12. Complaints, governing law and dispute resolution
For disputes or complaints about CricBolt, please first write to support@cricbolt.com, identifying the issue, relevant dates, affected content or feature, and requested resolution. We may seek reasonable information to investigate and will handle complaints within applicable statutory timelines. Nothing requires a consumer or data subject to waive access to a regulator, consumer commission, competent court or another mandatory remedy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory laws and protections applicable in a user's jurisdiction. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be brought before courts or authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law. This is not an agreement to an unverified exclusive forum or compulsory private arbitration.
13. Legal compliance and lawful requests
CricBolt intends to operate in accordance with laws applicable to the Service, including, where relevant, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, intellectual-property laws, and applicable data-protection law. These references do not represent a claim that every statutory regime applies to every feature or user. We may preserve or disclose information when required by valid legal process, or where otherwise legally authorized and necessary to protect the Service or the rights of persons involved, subject to applicable privacy safeguards. We may review and challenge requests where appropriate and legally permitted.
We may respond to good-faith notices concerning trademark, copyright, misleading content, advertising or illegal material, including by investigating, seeking relevant details, restricting access, correcting content or referring an issue to a responsible supplier. Filing a notice does not guarantee removal where it is not legally justified. We do not claim statutory intermediary immunity merely by publishing these Terms.
14. Indemnity for unlawful misuse
To the extent permitted by law, a user who intentionally violates these Terms or applicable law and thereby causes a third-party claim against CricBolt may be responsible for the reasonably established direct losses resulting from that misconduct. This does not apply to losses caused by CricBolt's own acts or omissions, and does not displace non-waivable consumer rights. We will not treat a complaint, regulatory report, or good-faith exercise of legal rights as misuse.
15. General provisions
If a court finds a provision invalid or unenforceable, remaining provisions continue only insofar as they can lawfully operate. Delay in exercising a right does not automatically waive it. No provision creates an agency, partnership or employment relationship with a user. Material modifications will not be used to deprive users of accrued statutory rights.
16. Contact
For legal notices, privacy requests, complaints, advertising reports, intellectual-property concerns or support, email support@cricbolt.com. A verified operator name, postal service address and designated officer details will be provided where legally required. A valid government or court notice should contain sufficient identifying and legal information for verification.
